The conditional Basic Income Grant (CBIG) is a monthly cash grant paid to identified vulnerable people in the country who are between the age of 18 and 59 years.

Please note:
The current beneficiaries of the Conditional Basic Income Grant (CBIG) are those who previously participated in the old Food Bank program. These beneficiaries used to recieve food parcels, but the program has now transitioned to monthly cash transfers of N$ 600 per household. This marks the first step towards phasing in a Conditional Basic Grant program.
